Software engineering & technical support

Foundational Unified Network (FUN) Technologies

An engineering company that builds software and keeps it running: web and mobile products, backend platforms, cloud infrastructure — and the maintenance that starts the day after launch.

Fig. 01 — Typical system
Diagram: web and mobile apps call an API that talks to services and a database in the cloud; a CI/CD pipeline deploys to the cloud; monitoring reads metrics and alerts the on-call engineer, who ships a patch. CLOUD deploy metrics alert patch web app mobile app api services database ci / cd monitoring on-call
What we build and keep running: the product, the platform under it, the pipeline that ships it, and the people on call when it needs them.

§ 01 — Services

Everything between the idea and the uptime.

Six ways we work with companies — on their own, or combined into one long-term engagement with a single team.

  • 01

    Product development

Web platforms and mobile apps, from the first prototype to public release. Design, frontend, backend and the release pipeline in one pair of hands.

    • Web
    • iOS
    • Android
    • MVP
  • 02

    Backend & integrations

APIs, payment and identity integrations, data pipelines and the services between them — documented so any team can pick them up.

    • APIs
    • Payments
    • Data
  • 03

    Cloud & DevOps

Infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containers, backups and cost control — on AWS, Google Cloud or your own servers.

    • IaC
    • CI/CD
    • Kubernetes
  • 04

    Support & maintenance

Monitoring, updates, security patches and incident response under an agreed SLA — for systems we built and for systems we inherit.

    • Monitoring
    • SLA
    • On-call
  • 05

    Audits & modernization

Code and architecture reviews, performance and security checks, and step-by-step migration of legacy systems without stopping the business.

    • Review
    • Migration
    • Performance
  • 06

    Dedicated team

A standing team that works as your in-house tech department: engineers, QA and a project lead on one contract, scaled up or down as you need.

    • Engineers
    • QA
    • Project lead
Tools we reach for
  • TypeScript
  • Vue & Nuxt
  • React
  • Node.js
  • Python
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • AWS
  • Google Cloud

§ 02 — Approach

The name is the method.

FUN Technologies is Foundational Unified Network (FUN) Technologies. Three words — and three rules we hold every project to.

Foundational

We start below the surface: architecture, infrastructure, data model, documentation. The parts nobody sees decide whether a product survives its second year.

  • Architecture agreed before the first feature
  • Infrastructure as code, backups from day one
  • Documentation and repositories you own

Unified

One team from the first sketch to on-call. Design, engineering, DevOps and support under one contract — no hand-offs between vendors, no lost context.

  • One project lead, one point of contact
  • Shared tracker you can see at any time
  • The people who built it support it

Network

Nothing runs alone. We build systems that connect — to your tools, your partners and your users — and we stay connected to them after launch.

  • Integrations treated as first-class features
  • Monitoring and alerts on every release
  • Support that continues after go-live

§ 03 — Process

How a project runs.

Four stages, and the last one never really ends — what we learn in production goes straight back into the next build.

  1. 01

    Discover

We map goals, constraints and the systems you already have, then agree scope, timeline and budget in writing.

  2. 02

    Build

Short iterations with a working build at the end of each. You see progress in software, not in status reports.

  3. 03

    Launch

Release, data migration and load checks — with monitoring and backups switched on before the first user arrives.

  4. 04

    Run

Maintenance, updates and support under an agreed SLA, plus a backlog of improvements based on real usage.

Run feeds back into Build

§ 04 — Contact

Let’s lay the foundation.

Tell us what you are building — or what needs looking after. We will come back with questions, a rough plan and the next steps.
